Max Eugeni is an artist from Merseyside (b. 2000). His work investigates the thresholds of understanding, drawing from scientific and philosophical thought to explore expanded realities – where the boundaries between knowing and not-knowing fade.
Through abstract forms, he invites the viewer into spaces of gentle uncertainty – not to solve or explain, but to settle in the in-between. His work often plays with shifting structures and interrupted patterns, reflecting how thought itself can drift, fragment, or reform.
Collage and printmaking become ways of manipulating form and emulate the process of conceptualising and imagining – taking abstract imagery through cycles of construction, deconstruction, and reconstruction. Conscious forms are threaded with intuitive ones; patterns are built, then shifted; connections formed, then broken; ideas found, then torn apart.
